Frank Vaydik Park

Tucked into Kansas City North, Frank Vaydik Park is home to the Kansas City Northern Miniature Railroad and has versatile green space with playgrounds, picnic areas, and open fields. A popular spot for youth sports and family gatherings.

Hodge Park

At more than 500 acres, Hodge Park blends open meadows with wooded trails. It’s also home to the Shoal Creek Living History Museum, where log cabins and costumed interpreters bring the 19th century to life.

Weston Bend State Park

English Landing Park

English Landing Park is a 68-acre facility – three miles of scenic walking trails paralleling the Missouri River (perfect for biking, walking & running enthusiasts), a large playground area, a boat ramp, picnic shelters, sand volleyball court and a disc golf course. It’s the perfect mix of nature + small-town charm.
