A new open-air amphitheater is here—bringing live music, community events, and unforgettable nights under the stars to the heart of the neighborhood.

Kansas City’s Newest Amphitheater

Morton Amphitheater is set to open in Riverside, Mo., in 2026. Located off I-635 and Horizons Parkway, the live music venue sits near the KC Current’s practice facility. Morton Salt, located in Overland Park, Kan., after spending decades in Chicago, is the salt company’s first-ever live music investment.

Morton Amphitheater reports it plans to host 30+ concerts each season, welcome 500,000+ fans annually, and drive roughly $70 million in annual economic impact into the region.

Along with a large lawn space, the amphitheater holds 16,000 seats, 12,000 of which are covered.
